The Wii U is alright I suppose. Sales-wise it’s doing better than the Xbox One.
The WII U hasn’t sold well at all. 6 million consoles in 2 years is pretty diabolical for consoles these days. It may have sold more than the Xbox One, but do bare in mind that the Xbox One has only been sold for a year in 13 (or so) countries, and only recently started selling for the rest of the world, thus their sales will still grow rapidly, whereas Wii U’s sales will have been pretty much saturated.
True. I forgot about the difference in release dates. I also have to agree that 6 million is pretty rubbish for a console already in shops for 2 years. I personally don’t think Xbox One will get far beyond that in the coming year tbh, but that’s merely an opinion.
i know wii u is kinda weird console but they still have lots of money left from wii (sold +100 million consoles)
mario, ds, 3ds, pokemon all those games sold fatastic in the old days so they basicly can make what they want because they sold so many games, mario is the most sold video game ever
btw i also prefer ps4/PC now i grew out of nintendo now
Those reserves won’t last for long. Nintendo have recorded three straight years of losses and it looks like this year won’t be any different: they already recorded a $92 million loss over Q2 this year. Besides, all(/most of) the games sold on Nintendo consoles were made by third parties, so they wouldn’t have made that much as you’d expect
uhm mario, tetris, pokemon zelda arent third partie and wii sports/play games
which other games do you mean
Mario is developed by Hudson Soft, AlphaDream, Nintendo, Pokemon is developed by Game Freak, Zelda is made by Nintendo, Flagship, Vanpool and Gezzo and Tetris was developed by Russians, not Nintendo
GENISES DOES WHAT NINTENDONT!
muahahahaa
.
hyped for getting hyrule warriors and …(’’)… ruby and <|< sapphire though
Yeah, for eg. gameboy or gb color, or my favorite gameboy advance!
tetris was on nintendo consoles
nintendo owns/made lots of money of mario zelda and pokemon
“third parties” and “first parties” refer to who actually made the software, not the hardware…
Nintendo is pretty much a hardware maker and publisher now.
i mean that nintendo gets a percentage from the games released on their platforms anyways
but you were saying they were first party games, so there is that.
i didn’t say anything about 1st party games but i just want to say that nintendo sold alot of game (especially to young children) and they have a big impact on the gaming market
(Off-topic post. Sorry.)
Hooray! A topic about consoles and PC, where a flame war doesn’t happen!
Whoop whoop!
The only thing that saved nintendo was Pokemon. It was the most played game on nintendo DS
Hahahaahahahahaha! Oh, you’re outstandingly funny.
Im not joking
you were saying
