Why not just not use a case altogether
1200 watts. isn’t that completely overpowered?
dayum 4790k
but
1200W? What do you want to do with this PC lmao
8.1? Get a 7, it’s cheaper and you can upgrade to 10 for free.
250GB SSD? Where is a HDD for all the other data? 250 GB is not enough.
The only reason i’m buying 8.1 is so that i can upgrade to 10 for free. I know you can do it with windows 7 but i thought maybe it would be a cleaner upgrade using 8.1.
Also maybe i should downgrade the psu to a 750 maybe?
Yeah Well leasts it future proof!
Naa i would probably change it to a 750.
Madness.
Id definitely go for 16gb ram
Oh just noticed that, thanks. I meant to have 16gb.
@Zenon I hope you’ll use that 250GB only for system, but not for any other data ;_;
Add 1-2TB HDD and you’re done.
btw. your build is similar to this.
umm
Why?
Definitely just get a w7, that stuff’s cheaper plus you get to upgrade to w10 the same way you would w8.1.
@Zenon if you’re going to get Windows 8.1 or something, my friend recommended a reddit salesman guy that is selling keys for Windows 8.1/8/7/etc. for just $20 per key. You might not trust it because it’s kinda shady, but my friend used it for his PC, and said it worked fine – also the guy is a vertified seller on reddit.
Yeah that’s the plan, will use my current 1TB for other data.
Not sure, maybe it’s because windows 8.1 is kinda more similar to windows 10 than windows 7 to windows 10 right?
Yeah, i think you guys have persuaded me. BTW can we not just buy windows 10 when it releases or do we have to wait for the limited 1 year offer to expire?
Urmmmm hmmm my brain is telling me thats a bad idea.
W10 will probably be more expensive on release. Plus you can guarantee you’ll get a w10 upgrade if you buy w7/w8.1 without worrying that w10’s sold out. Also, to avoid doubleposting, just use @Name.
Umm no.
You can format all your system data and make a clean install. You could do that with Windows 98 and there would be no difference.
And don’t quadriple post. You can use @Mentions to reply to everyone in one post.
