The new gaming PC i'm going to build - Would you do anything different?

is that monitor included

No, i have a ok monitor included, but iā€™m going to upgrade it soon

AMD FX8350 8 Core 4.0GHz
DDR3 8GB 1866MHz
990XA-UD3 Motherboard
750Ti OC edition MSI 2Gb
and 600W power supply

Not bad, what games do you play a lot? And could you tell me the average FPS

I spend under Ā£15 for the case, I would play games like CSGO, Battlefield 3 average sort of games and I was getting good FPS I can just say, the only thing that was lacking was the Graphics Card and reason being it didnā€™t have a 6pin slot to get extra power eventhough the PSU supports two 6 pins and the gpu not having an SLI connection slot when i got a Motherboard that can support 3 GPUS

it really just pissed me off alot

Great, in the build guide (I got this build from jackfrags) and this build can handle CS:GO at ultra at about 100-200 FPS

Kizza the only reason y Iā€™m recommending Intel for your CPU is because I found out that eventhough AMD would have higher GHz it doesnā€™t carry as much data across

right Kizza tell me one thing what is this computer going to be used for, just Gaming or Gaming, Recording and Rending?

What do you mean? ā€œIt doesnā€™t carry as much data acrossā€

Mostly gaming, and a bit of recording and a bit of rendering

right so a good CPU would also be needed

Intel has better single core performance and multicore performance (generally, like the i5-4440 is much faster than the 6300)

Also, is the OS included in this budget?

Iā€™d keep it the way it is.

I built a build almost a lot alike this, but with a 4440 over a 6300.

You can also get a cheaper case.

Is that PSU bronze? If not, iā€™d get a bronze certified PSU.

But anyways, if youā€™re not building this in the next few days/week, I wouldnā€™t even make a build. 8xx and r7/9 3xx series GPUā€™s are coming out in a few months, so prices will be cheaper, and better hardware will be out. Also broadwell is coming out soon, so haswell may drop down in price.

But I bought that exact GPU, itā€™s a beast. You wonā€™t hear it at full load, and it doesnā€™t even get that hot.

No, the OS is not included in that budget, and well, iā€™m not aiming for a good build, i just want to get a PC that is capable of gaming, also, jackfrags did a full build guide of this exact PC, and since this will be my first custom PC, a builde would help me out

Then how are you gonna game? Lol, youā€™ll need a OS. (I recommend reddit/r/softwareswap and buying one from there. Iā€™ve bought 6+ keys, for all the computers Iā€™ve built for me/others, and not one problem, I bought all mine for 10 dollars a piece)

And what are your specs on your old PC? The 270x is a powerful card, but it may not be much more powerful than the one you already have.

Well, iā€™m obviously buying an OS xD

And my current ā€œPCā€ is a laptop with standard Intel HD integrated graphics

Where? :o You may be able to save money why getting it cheaper else where. (No, not pirating.)

And oh, lol.

Iā€™m not sure where iā€™m getting the copy of windows from yet, iā€™m still looking to find the cheapest price possible

huge recommendation > Windows 8.1 < better performance NOT Windows 8

i was going to get windows 8.1
