I played Game Dev Tycoon and it wasn’t laggy at all, and suddenly it became so laggy that i can’t play it anymore…
any idea why?

In which game stage are you?
For me it gets leggy in last office in R&D Department when they are working on full
Other than that game works great 
Some players never experience lag, while others do.
This is down to many factors.
All i can suggest at this stage is be sure to streamline your pc to free up the processor.
Close all open applications and check how many active processes you have in task manager and remove and fluff programs.
