Let me start of with saying that the game that you have made is extremely amazing and as a independent company you are up there with Mojang in my book. Secondly, from the very beginning when I played Game Dev Story by Kairosoft I felt the same thing. Im glad you did to and decided to make a game similar to it but (in my opinion) 10 times better.
Sadly i have not yet bought your game. However i am not part of the 97% that is pirating it either. I plan on buying in in the near future. Thank you sincerely for how you made this game. You made it geared to the public, not to yourself. I really hope you continue making amazing games.
I started writing this email right after reading your blog post Patrick. I was really glad to see another developer (though small) was going back to what developing really is, making games that aren’t a pain to play.
