In a further update or DLC players at the beginning of the game should be able to choose whether for their company to be solely a game development company, a technology company (like Microsoft or Sony). Or the player could choose to be both. If you were a technology company you would be able to Create computers, phones and other hand held devices. The player could partner up with companies and get them to release their game as a launch game for the console or computer. Another good idea Would be rivals and allies, allies could be gained by doing publishing deals withers other or the player could pay the other company to always side with them if any media conflict occurred .

Technology Company sounds like it’d be a solid idea for an Expansion Pack. It would add a lot of extra gameplay. You’d probably have to renovate the third office to really get the idea over, and that’s way more content than an update should have.
It might work for a DLC or as a component of a sequel.
