I just bought this game on steam and this error pops up when i open it SyntaxError: Unexpected token 〱 why is this happening? i have reinstalled the game many times now and nothing is working.

No i have no mods installed

Game Version: 1.5.28
Platform: Windows
Distribution: Steam

Try this:

  1. Windows Key + r type %appdata% enter
  2. Move back one folder and browse to AppData/Local
  3. Delete the “Game Dev Tycoon - Steam” folder
  4. Disable cloud sync for the game.
  5. Start the game
