Hi! I bought the game through Steam some days ago but today, while waiting for the release, I noticed something MAY be wrong.
On the GHG website the game requirements mention Windows 7/8 while on Steam the minimum requirements mention Windows XP SP3.
Is there an error made by Steam or is the Steam version optimized to run on an older OS?
And… yes, I know. I should move on to Windows 7. Can’t bother with getting a new comp at the moment though.

I have the version from the GHG-website and never had any problems running it on Windows XP (though i don’t know which service pack - probably 3)
I doubt the 1.4 version won’t run on XP.
Thanks! Lately even the simplest games seem to support only Windows 7/8 and was afraid this was the case… and it’s a game that looks too good to be missed.

Whilst GHG chooses not to officially support an 11 year old OS, GDT has been confirmed to work on XP SP3 in the past, and the underlying technologies are supported on XP by their upstream developers (node-webkit in particular). Therefore you should have nothing to worry about for the foreseeable future.
The game ran on my old price of junk windows xp sooooooooooooooooooooYeh
