@CrumpDev that’s what it should look like (well, what it looks like when it wants to work properly) .

Doesn’t help that their support is automated and goes “we cant find a problem on your line” or you get redirected to a call centre somewhere in asia (and by asia, i mean india i guess)

I suppose the “gotta love it” was sarcasm

More than 10 hours to download GTA V on 12,9 MB/s? x|
I can only reach 9,9 MB/s on Steam… I’m screwed.

it’s Mbps @Lukas_Schuurman.

Mb/s is how many mb a second, Mbps is megabits, 8 megabits is equal to 1 mb.

so it would have been 1.6125Mb/S (i used google for that btw)

Eitherway… seems to have improved (the division finished downloading)

@Rex0099 Then I got 9,9 Mbps, but I’m still screwed.

yeah 13MB/s is quite fast while 13Mb/s is less than 2 megabytes/second, thus quite slow.

and yeah I can’t imagine downloading GTA V…

Well I am supposed to get 30mbps download and 2mbps upload. But because I’m on copper cable I get less at traffic times. With my current government’s NBN, in two years, I won’t get fiber but HFC. That may change depending on who wins my country’s election, if the opposition wins I should get 1000mbps download and I’m not sure about upload. Though I don’t want the opposition to win.

That doesn’t sound right. Mb = megabits lol.

mbps = mb/s

I thought 1000² bits was 1 megabyte and a byte was made out of 8 bits :neutral_face:

nope, mbps is megabits per second, mb/s is megabytes per second
