Suggestions ---

(Sorry, if this any of these are already some kind of thing.)
Just a few suggestions, I had in mind! If you don’t feel inclined to read, I don’t mind. These are just things that I think would be an interesting addition to the game. =]

Pre-Release: Allows player to set a game as a pre-release, before a chosen console comes out. This greatly increases hype, with a bigger punishment for poor outcome.
Alternatively, pre-release could be a marketing strategy that doesn’t necessarily involve new consoles, with a similar effect.
(I know sequels exist, but I consider this to be different.)

Re-Release: Allows player to re-release improved versions of their classic games, as long as said game had a decent score over-all when it was originally released. This increases fans gained, - presumably, old fans - and slightly increases hype, also giving a bigger punishment for failure.

Team Placement: Allows player to move employees around the table(s) available in the office, and moves the fill position buttons to the left-click menu, so it stops covering my workers. Grumble, grumble.

Trend Chalkboard: Allows player to click on a board located in the office in order to check trends. This removes the notification that says “the market has returned to being neutral,” considering it doesn’t actually tell me what is trending, usually.

More Game Reviews: Adds more variants to the reviews received on games created. (I’m not implying that there should be 1,000 different ways that a critic can review your game, it would just be nice to see some different things, rather than the same 4 or 5 things said, every single time. The community on the forum can even help contribute ideas for text.)

Competition: Adds other game creating firms to the mix, challenging the player to excel in beating said firms. This could be a feature at G3, where they decided who made the best game(s) in each genre/of all year/of all TIME! (Perhaps, I’m playing to too safe, but I don’t see any actual competition in the game. Sure, the game is plenty challenging, but there isn’t anyone out there to make you feel like you should try harder, so you can be on top.)

Research Descriptions: A small description, which appears when the player hovers over a research item. (Just a small description and an example to help the player know exactly what they’re researching. When buying things like 3D Graphics V2, I’m curious as to what exactly that looks like. Are we talking 3 triangles and a circle, or what?)
