Suggestions for Ninvento - and proposal for Arcades

We need more achievements for early monumental games, and there are some games you missed.

Dragon Warrior (Dragon Quest) Fantasy - RPG - Ninvento. This was an instant hit.

RPG’s were very popular on Nintendo, including Final Fantasy, Faxanadu, Zelda 1 and 2, and Crystalis. These games, I grew up playing.

(Note, make Ninvento RPG friendly).

Contra - Action - Ninvento.

Then, came Super Nintendo. This should also be RPG Friendly.

Lufia 1&2, Illusion of Gaia, Zelda: Link to the Past, Shadowrun, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Paladin’s Quest, Mystic Quest. Brain Lord. Final Fantasy 2 (4 in Japan), Final Fantasy 3 (6 in Japan). Breath of Fire. Have I made my point clear yet? No?

Chrono Trigger. (The most important and top rated SNES rpg of all time).

These games made RPG’s famous and some of them should be achievements. Moreso, this is a plea to make both Ninvento and Super Ninvento “RPG +++”. (Especially following the rule that no console without a +++ for at least one age category and at least one game category is garbage).

Then you have Sega Genesis which wasn’t so much known for RPG’s despite having several including the agreed upon best rendition of Shadowun, a decent Dungeons and Dragon’s game, and a whole bunch of fighting and racing games.

Gauntlet Legends was one of the most overproduced games in video gaming history; in its prime, it was the hotter than the sun. This game was released on the Arcade and was ported into consoles.

One more idea: Arcades.

Arcade Platforms in the early age would be great. To implement it, you could focus only on the machine: You invest some money (like an early console), and it costs maintenance and gains profit every month (not from machine sales, but from players paying to play your game in public locations like arcades and truck stops).

Maintenance will always increase like with an MMO, however profits will increase with the success of games you release. This encourages arcade machines to “evolve”, and release new machines now and then, it also rewards making good games. Any game above 7.0 rating should contribute to Arcade Profit. You could release games for Arcades similar to releasing Expansions for an MMO. The RP idea is that you are upgrading your machines to fit in another game, but it seems these mechanics already exist in other areas and could be re-utilized?

Because the systems of increased maintenance, and expansions exist for MMO’s and releasing good games seems to impact the sale of Consoles, maybe it would be possible? This would get the player in on a major part of gaming history, and culture.

Thank you for any consideration given to this topic.

Thanks for the feedback!
