@MURRRRRRRRRRRRR - I changed your avatar for you, this is a 12+ forum so explicit images are not acceptable.
For using other peoples saves etc you will need to disable the steam cloud service;
In your Steam Library, right-click on Game Dev Tycoon and select “Properties.”
Click the “Updates” tab.
Uncheck “Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Game Dev Tycoon.”
Click “Close.”
Please note that we do not support using/swapping other people saves and we do not support adding saves from the offline version to the Steam version.
As for your saves giving an error, were the originally from a Steam game? did you edit your saves or use a save game editor? Have you tried starting a new game?
Didn’t edit anything. Don’t know even how that happens. Tried to start new game, and yes - it’s original saves. Dont know what to do. Tried to disable steam cloud synchronization, but not still working. But it’s ok, I started new game. Thank you for trying to help
No worries, I can wait. I’m also playing the Windows version on both a laptop (where it becomes unplayable once you reach the third building upgrade) and a desktop (unfortunately, the desktop died on me last week and I’m still working on rebuilding it). I don’t think I want to remove one version and put it on my Mac Mini. Given how it performs on my laptop, I’m afraid that it’ll be even more unplayable on an i5 Mac Mini with Intel GPU! (Hey, Team Fortress 2 is barely playable on it, and said game runs fine on this laptop!).
Any update for the overlay resolution problem as eluded to by others? Same resolution as mer, experiencing the same problems.
Do you even know the cause of this? Could you provide some sort of timeline as to when a solution will arise? It’s fairly distracting playing with the notifications and overlay offset.
