Move the start of the game back to the 1970s and there would some new platforms such as the Attari and other items. It would also make the game longer to.

Nope. The game is already released. The thing is, it’s scheduled in 5 days for the STEAM release. You can already buy it if you want to.
It would be great if you would have an option that what year you start it.
It would be pretty strange if you start in 2010. You will have no storyline then. Or if you start in 1994, you’re in a random place in the storyline then! It would be pretty strange if you could choose. And if you choose 1820… There are no games in that year!
I mean’t like between 1980 & 2000, but yeah that would be probably pretty hard to make…
there was no atari in the 70’s you kid… i was alive back then and this game has it right… only thing before whats in this game was the Trash80, TimexSinclare and Vic20

The thing is, third party game development - at least for consoles - didn’t start until the founders of Activision broke of from Atari in '79. And even then, it was challenged in court if I’m not mistaken. So the idea of a one man game dev startup seems more plausible for the game’s early 80’s starting point ('83, if the TES and NES share the same release date). That said, I’m all for them taking liberties with real history for the sake of gameplay. Keeping the Arcade alive, or even making the 5200 a success - I love the idea of those sorts of scenarios.
