I’ve been trying to maximize fancount in my recent playthroughs, and my record came to 5.8M fans. Got any tips?
A savegame editor maybe ? I just can’t believe a neat excess of 775000 research points and 600 billion money can be earned in a 35 (or even 38) year game

You’re right. I hadn’t looked at the research point total. That does look like it’s just a savegame editor.

@Deskairn Expermintation is key, play around with the dev settings, choose whats important and invest wisley, dont always go after the fans when they want something.
Support the fans manily.

Editing for research points is still editing enough that I’m not impressed with the outcome. Gaining research points effectively, and then spending them wisely, is a critical component of the game’s strategies.
Yeah. I’ve been struggling doing the Sorrow’s Society Challenge by making text-based games only and gaining very small tiny amount of research points. I’m just trying my best to research something!
Well @Romire you just forget that Research points are a ressource at the same level as money. Editing a savegame for infinite research point alters the game as much as editing it for infinite money. The only fact that you felt the need for editing them for your success is a good indicator that you result will have no intrinsic meaning. Would you have edited just for the color of your clothes, or for the name of your character ? I don’t think so. Because it has absolutely no impact on the gameplay.
Try to do it again without any kind of editing, and we’ll talk about it if you can do it ^^
This challenge sounds interesting, I think I’ll try it.
