Slowdowns after some time?

Hey,

Just for diagnostic purposes can anyone let me know if they fit the following criteria;

  1. Has a Greenheart Games Discourse forum tab open for several hours at a time
  2. After 1 hour+ experiences a very slow response time to navigating back to the main page, categories or new threads?

If you do please let me know;

  1. Your Browser
  2. How long has this been occurring?
  3. Confirm this only happens on these forums.

My info is;

  1. Chrome - No plugins, Skyrim theme.
  2. About 6 months
  3. Only on GHG-D

Hmm that doesn’t happen to me. I’m using Firefox.

I have a forum tab open for several hours every day. I even put the computer in hibernation with it open, but I don’t experience that. It’s always a little slow (takes about 1.5 seconds to load the main page and then about 3 seconds to load the thread list) but I’m pretty sure that’s natural loading times.

@Charlie About how long does it take to navigate to the main page for you?

When there is no issue - 2 seconds
After a while - 25 - 30 seconds

Today, i had 2 secs for an hour, then 25-30 secs for an hour and now i am back to 2 secs again.

I’ve never noticed an issue with the forums and there’s been times that I had it open for hours.

Chrome, no plugins, no themes.

Hmm, thanks! I will take a look at my AVG antivirus and also monitor the times and days it happens
