Several ideas to really improve the game experience!

Hi everyone, :grey_exclamation:

First idea : A market place for engine and technology where you could sell and buy engines , it might be usefull cause devloping engine take lot a time, plus when you are end or even middle game you have a lot obsolete engine , that you never use for a your next game. 25% of the initial cost for exemple (more or less).

2 : Put more hidden bugs and patch process, even if the game have 0 bugs (only 2 complains about bugs in 74 Y) ,

why ?

To get closer to reality and to add a new feature : the Beta-test !!

This Beta-test is an aditional process that you can start after a game devloppement( , it will takes one to 4 weeks and it help to find bugs and improve the game before the release, especialy the online game and the MMO.

like that you can rebalance the MMO feature, MMO are actualy a money maker in the game and made the game too easy,

3 : Free to play
no sales income, but money each month and how many people download it !

4 : furniture&hardware
let players have opportunity to buy furniture and computer for their studio.

for exemple in the garage you start without hardware and you must buy a computer, a low one from the stone age.

Same in the next office but with a much better list. in fact you will buy hardware for each new recruit.

5: More achievments, more researchs, more events,.

for exemple yu can add the eye toy and the kinect, and after their release yu have to do some reseach and a new engine to implement them.

you can also add voice chat after the online play research, its just some ideas, but the main thing is that you have to slow down a little bit the time, it go so fast, and yu cant fight against PS4 or xbox with your own console only several years after ps4 are out, its ruins a lil bit the game experience because you have not opponent in the industry at this time ,

6: G3 awards ceremony

with money price or hype bonus!

thanks for reading.

Obsolete engines wouldn’t fetch much unless they’re the engine that just went obsolete.

That said, I can imagine a company gaining fans by open-sourcing their outdated dev tools. It’s the sort of thing that would make a good random event. An opportunity to trade an engine away and get fans, It should never target your highest tech engine or the engine you used most recently.

I’ve suggested free-to-play before. I’d actually like full-on freeware releases to be a thing. Sometimes, I have dead time in the schedule and I want to do something silly like bashing together a small experimental game, or making a sequel for something ancient (like the first game the company ever made). Getting bashed by reviewers and losing fans for this is lame.

you should be able to save your sliders and like saving tactics. Maybe get the press involved maybe be able to ask fans what game they want next

i hv made a paint of what it looks like, tell me if yu like the ideas guys,

post edit.

The beta test is a great suggestion :green_heart:

thx for support Charlie, and what about buying and selling engine&tech?

post edit i have add/regroup some idea :rabbit:

I’m sure the game devs can do this if we can slow down the pirating of the game.

i have a idea for the devs. allow you to do preplaning for a game (this must be researched) to get more design and tech and less bugs but at a cost of money

good idea and yu do this preplanning on the with board!

I think to be honest they should completely overhaul the MMO mechanic. The sales meter is replaced by a subscriber meter which has a roof of about 120M people. You have to Beta Test and select a business Model, so Subscriber nets more money but looses you fans in some cases, Free to Play nets more fans but you don’t gain as much money, Buy Once Free Forever is the most fan friendly model, but you have to have a Microtransaction shop in your game.
