Seventh Gamers Mod Suite

So, I decided to try my hand at modding this game. The API is pretty intuitive for what it allows, so that was nice (especially because I have extremely minimal coding knowledge). Eventually, I plan on adding mods for events and platforms as well, and all individually at that so people can pick and choose. The end game is to also do one massive mod that takes advantage of all the other smaller mods to make a truly interesting and interactive game. Hopefully one where every play-through is unique and diverse.

I’d love to have multi-topic support, as well as find a way to split the audiences apart, and add more genres. I understand this would make the game not compatible with other mods, but by the time I got around to this, it’d be nearing expansion pack (sequel?) level modding.

Anyways, I’m rambling. This mod suite is available in it’s individual forms as follows:
Unless otherwise stated, they require only the gdt-modAPI v1.2.

Want to help make this better? Well, you can make suggestions here, on steam, or on my own website at http://seventhgamers.com. I wouldn’t mind having some help either.

If you want, it should be pretty easy to use this in your own mod. I’d greatly appreciate it if you gave me credit for this though. And should your mod be totally awesome, and do something totally neat that requires extra coding, if its simple I can probably modify this to be compatible. Probably.

Thank god, another mod that doesn’t use damn Ultimate Lib

I thought about it, but figured I’d save trying to use it until I had something that it provided that I couldn’t do myself. For instance, there’s a search function I saw in another mod that requires Ultimate Lib, that I would really like to add seeing as how there’s 150 topics total with this, and I’ve thought of two new ones since I posted that (not that I can recall them at the moment but…).

In related news, I’m working on the research items mod right now.

And the research mod is up (hence my renaming the topic). 61 new researche items are available for your enjoyment. Some refinement is still underway, but I’m pretty sure its all stable enough to play.
