First game is Mirrors which is a puzzler/platformer where all you have to do is get your self to the end or mirror self to the end and the game will be 60 $ and the game can seriously get tricky but hints can be handed in some situations and it keeps it self new and introduces new elements every couple of levels. It is 2D and uses basic sounds.
Iād rather not start over, again. This is, what, the third GDTRP thread Iāve joined? This one is good, letās just stick with one instead of jumping ship and resetting every 2 weeks.
Or just do whatever and Iāll sit out. I think this is my last RP thread, so if it dies Iām done.
That is kinda my thought also and i know Macdon went away due to exams. so lets just continue for now. and sure it is complex, But so far i think this has been the best RP so far, just that it seems most people doesnāt seem to post much just like waiting their time for someone else to jump start it.
well he said he wanted me to take over until his exams was finished but so far i do not know his rating systems and hwo to calculate sales, But i will nag on him and hope he sends me that info.
I had a cool idea the other day (I think itās cool, at least) for a spinoff series. I know the thread is a bit slow now, but Iām hoping it will pick up again soon. In the meantime, I thought I would bounce this off a few of you now instead of springing it later.
Strange Pony Tales is a series similar to, but entirely different from, Astridās Pony Tales. SPT games lack the storybook framing device used in APT, are darker in tone, and have more mature themes. The SPT series would be aimed at teenagers and young adult gamers, as opposed to APTās intentions for a general audience. The setting (and architecture, clothing, etc.) of SPT would be more realistic and modern (but with colorful talking horses and goblins because Iām weird).
To compare the concept with a real life series: if APT is a more kid-friendly Final Fantasy with ponies, SPT is Shin Megami Tensei: Persona with ponies (which is also where I got the idea for the title; the Japanese version of the Persona series is called Strange Tales of the Goddess).
By far the biggest distinguishing factor is that the APT series is exclusive to Horse-Drawnās hardware, but I intend for the SPT series to be multi-platform. I actually did this on a recent play-through of GDT (APT exclusive to Vena consoles and later Playsystem 1/2/3 then eventually Gamewagon, SPT released on Nivento consoles and then multiple consoles when the research unlocks) and thought itād be fun to bring into the RP if anyone else likes the idea.
So, who wants Strange Pony Tales on their console?
Since things seem to be tiring around here, Iāve decided to make an article my priority. Itāll concentrate on the gaming industry gossip and opinions, generally advice and reactions to some of the decisions youāve made so far.
I need one thing though: Is there any games on Gamercon besides Adventure Sands? If not if @LineLiar wants, I could retcon it to be only released recently to:
Be more realistic as no sane console manufacturer would go that long without releasing.
Be fair since he was missing for a while.
Spice up the console war.
@apljee What would you recommend to remove/add/change in your opinion? Myself, I think the info is too unorganised or badly laid out. Iāll try revamping the OP to explain the info easier and simplify it. Wonder should I start a wikia to organise the different sections? Itād only be a few links and less intimidating, the readers could choose which section they want and itād be easily broken up.
Alrightā¦ I think Iāll give up my place because I donāt really have the time for this as much as I thought. I could always leave in a RP way if thatās needed.
Perhaps a Sega? Console business bankrupts you due to bad management and you decide 3rd party is the way to be?(Allows you to enter again if you want). You could think of an excuse to flog the console rights to someone else to pay off debt or something (Has that been done in real-life before?)
