Sorry for being slightly less active, someone paused it and then I got lazy/forgot.
Anyway the big thing at the moment is the Plethora forums, a new forum dedicated to RPing set up by a group of people from this forum.There are plans to move the major RPs of this forum over to there. There may be some advantages, what do people think?

I already left the RP, but I say moving somewhere else sounds terrible. Unless there is a advantage big enough for you guys/gals to actually move.

  1. We won’t be cluttering up Patrick’s and Daniel’s Forum.

  2. The Forum is SOLELY based on roleplaying [the main thing] and ANYONE can make a roleplay.

  3. it’s a friendly community, you would know most people there from THIS forum.

  4. It’s only in Alpha/Beta stage in my opinion!

Well,

  1. You guys would be being more active on their forums, which I think doesn’t count as “cluttering up”. I doubt the GDT Dev team mind you guys being here and they probably love the idea (to keep the community more active, which they obviously want).

  2. Anyone could also make a roleplay here too. The Devs seem friendly enough.

  3. Of course I know that.

  4. Sounds risky to me (in terms of security). :l

But hey, this is your guys/gals RP, not mine. I’m just pointing out my point of view here.

Meh, True but think about it if EVERYONE made a roleplay and cluttered up the forums, it COULD happend.

The Devs probably want more people in their forums. They want to expand. They want the community growing (in any way friendly). They’ll plan on managing it. By manage I mean make a way to fit in more stuff.

OK, I’m going to say this to @CaptainSnake, being a CEO/Founder of Plethora Studios, and an administrator on the forums:

  1. Who says we’ll be more active on their forums? Maybe they just joined this forum for the RPs. In the end, we weren’t taking anything away from them if it’s just because of roleplaying, and they never bought the game. If not, who really cares if they’re more active on another forum then another? Mojang doesn’t care that I’m more active here then I am at the Minecraft Forums.
  2. Anyone can make a roleplay, true, but again, Charlie herself has to manage all of them. It might just be me, but I don’t really want Charlie having to manage the forums, all of the roleplay topics, and sort everything out in the community all at once.

  4. It isn’t very risky. Nothing’s very risky about a game dev studio that made forums so people can RP. Not in my book, anyways. How would it be risky? Are we going to transfer nuclear bomb codes into the code, and give it to people who want them? "Here, take these bomb codes. I don’t really want them.’’

Lol on the 4th. By security I mean viruses, etc. Although, I’m not saying your site does have a virus, I’m just warning it’s possible (although, you guys seem friendly enough to not do that on purpose).

We don’t have a virus. It’s a brand-new site, the domain was just purchased from Go Daddy. Also, we can’t transfer files onto a computer, so that’s like saying going on a website that links to a virus download will get you a virus. :stuck_out_tongue:
