I second this motion. We shouldn’t stick @MacDon with a full year of sales figures to calculate once the internet issue is worked out.
I don’t fully understand the suggestion
Each post moves the timeline by only a day until MacDon returns, instead of a week.
Well I usually post off of guessing, if I see someone did Feb. 26th than I’ll just do the next day or a few after. Never really 7 days
Who knows?
not 15% in total, 15% of the gained funds.
So, what is happening? I haven’t posted on the RP thread cause I am waiting
Go ahead and post whatever you feel is worthwhile. I suggest articles for the fictional “Game Giant” magazine. Remember, games will take the same in-game amount of time to develop and release, but we are currently under a restriction of 1 or two days passing between posts.
Try reviewing the games of other players, as if you actually played them and the present day was an alternate 1986. Information on games can be found on the wiki on the page of the company that produced them.
I thought that only Macdon is the reviewer and sales guy??
The only one that matters in the market. Now that you mention it, don’t give it a rating number (0.0 to 10.0). Otherwise, review as if you were playing it for the first time in the current in-game year.
EDIT: I’ll post an example review in the RP “On-topic” thread. I’ll use Gamewagon: Play as the subject, since that was the first game ever released in the RP.
I see what you mean, I will wait until the slow day count gets to the date I want though, activity should spike now tho
I honestly don’t feel like reviewing games. :l
haha, that is harsh. I can see what you mean, @MacDon should make someone the person in charge of writing up Magazines and reviews while @MacDon focuses on RP updates and doing sales charts and moderation.
Well I’d rather @MacDon come to me if he wants me to be the official reviewer. I’m also not going to be writing any further “Jim and Ned Discuss!” columns, because that was originally his idea.
That’s okay, but try to think up SOMETHING to do on a daily or bi-daily basis. Otherwise we’re stuck between a stall and a fast place.
I’ll think of something.
Hey Twyster can you review my game next. I would like to see how good it will turn out for my indie game company.Thank you.
No problem, I did the review for Computer Maker Tycoon. Now if you’ll excuse me, my sad excuse for a job calls (I deliver papers on Thursday evenings and Friday mornings).
Guys only go DAY BY DAY, if you see someone who has March 19, than put March 20. We are going slow because Macdon is not hear and sales charts are backlogged badly! So PLEAAASE SLOW DOWN
@Twyster I need your help with the wikia, I made the product part for the Quickfire MX, can you clean it up so it all fits nicely and discretely? i tried putting the two variants ina gallery but it didnt work, thanks!
