Resolution Adjustment

Hey there!,

I’ve noticed that when playing on the Steam version of Game Dev Tycoon, the resolution seems to be a bit out, I’m not sure if theres a way to fix this, because I can’t notice a resolution adjustment. It would be a great idea to add a resolution update to the game as it’s very popular and growing very fast.

I wanted to congratulate Greenheart Games for all their time and effort into this well thought of game as it’s not easy to do these things. Congrats, Greenheart. <3

We support a minimum resolution of 1024x768. At 1024x768 and lower not all of the screen is visible. Which resolution are you using?

I’m using 1366 x 768

I use 1024x600 on my netbook and i cant event see any button on the bottom of the screen. I cant play this game on my netbook.

as the requirements state, you need at least 1024x 768 and a hardware accelerated graphics card with dedicated memory, which is very rare in a netbook.

Do you think you guys could develop an update that features a resolution update?

While retrofitting the game with a resolution adjustment is possible, the lag you will probably experience while playing the game will also make the game unplayable.
