Hello, I want to create a mod called start in the 70s.
These are things that I want to get in the mod.
You start right before the release of the Nagnavos Journey (Magnavox Odyssey).
3 new consoles:
Nagnavos Journey (Y1)
Matari 2600 (Y5)
Nagnavos Journey2 (Y6)
1 new computer
Govodore P.A.T. (Y5)
Events:
Event that announces the PC (Y10) and the Govodore 64 (Y11).
Event that announces the industry crash, somewhere in this year (Y11)
Custom Researches:
Graphics:
-1-bit graphics (Unlocks when nagnavos journey releases)
-2-bit graphics.(unlocks when matari 2600 releases)
-2D graphics V1 (4-bit graphics) (unlocks when pc releases, also unlocks custom game engine)
-2D graphics V2 (8-bit graphics)
-2D graphics V3 (16-bit graphics)
Engine:
Only for 2D graphics:
-Up-view or Flip-Screen (unlocks when matari 2600 releases)
-Side-scroll (unlocks when TES releases)
Only for 3D graphics:
-First Person View
-Second Person View
-Third Person View
Gameplay:
-Minimap
Sound:
-Basic Sounds (Y5, when Matari 2600 releases.)
Things to add to make sure no errors are in the mod:
Make sure all platforms of the game and the events (not from the mod) are about 10-12 years after its original release date to have an effect that it’s in the 70s not in the 80s.
(THIS WILL CAUSE INCOMPATIBILTY ISSUES WITH OTHER MODS! MODDERS WILL HAVE TO RELEASE A COMPATIBLE VERSION FOR THIS TO WORK WITH THE MOD!)
To-Do List (by priority):
1. Make all platforms and events 10-12 years later.
2. Create events and the platforms.
3. Add researches.
4. Make textures.
5. Delete all the pesky bugs.
6. Polish.
I would like to receive some feedback from the modders and even the developers.
