I noticed that the Tweak Mod is able to make time keep going by when you get many notices. However, it doesn’t do this with things like creating games. I just wanted a mod where time will keep going regardless of what you are doing. This will also help to synchronize multiplayer games with the multiplayer mod. That way you can make sure you and your friends are on the same year. Would anyone be able to create a feature similar to the tweak mod, but have time always going?
I didn’t think it would be that hard of a mod to make is all. I have limited knowledge of such things of course. However, I thought if someone make it separately from the MP Mod it would probably get done quicker because @Darkly wouldn’t need to work on that particular feature. Not to mention, as a standalone mod this would serve many other features, multiplayer was just the first that occurred to me. It would certainly bring a new feeling of realism, the world won’t wait on you to make your decisions. You just have to keep up.

AFAIK the tweak mod does that by replacing all regular notifications with overlay windows, which is why time stops when a non-notification (game concept, research etc) dialog pops up. You’d have to tweak the function that shows the modal dialogs and make it show custom overlay windows instead, which I think would be difficult because you’d have to manually change a lot of stuff outside that function too, to get all buttons to work.
What will be included in my mod will be a bit different
