I know that when replaying the game your score is based on previous scores. Is there any way to remove old high scores so that I can let my friend try the game and his scores not be penalized by my experienced playing?
You are only competing against yourself in a given playthrough. New playthroughs compete only against your scores in that playthrough. Your past plays will not penalize your friend’s game.
He’ll still post lower scores than you. That’s the power of experience on your side.

When you replay the game, your score does not carry over in any way, however any hints that are unlocked during previous games can be carried over (you are usually asked at the start of a game whether you want this to happen).

Thanks guys. For some reason I was under the impression that old high scores counted against new ones.
