I think this will be awesome couse Game dev story have not so much content.
And not much people buys microsoft surface as a nexus 7 for example.
couse win tabs costs really much.not like an android tab.
Sorry for my bad english
Only problem is that it’s a lot of work, and people usually won’t spend too much on phone/tablet apps.
And I’m pretty sure GHG has enough work debugging GDT 1.4.x ATM.
They already support Windows, Mac and Linux, which is more than enough for just a few developers.
GHG is still a small indie company, so branching out too rapidly WILL have an impact on quality.
Multi-platform releases is not as easy IRL as in GDT
your last sentence was really funny
And how can i get it on linux?
couse than i can install ubuntu on my nexus 7
If you bought the game from GHGs store, you’d have gotten a mail containing a link to your personal order page.
On that page you’ll find your Steam key, and download links for Windows, Mac and Linux.
If you bought it on Steam, then I suppose it’s tough luck
I also think that, if the UI was redesigned and the graphics too, this game would work very well as an $8 3DS eShop downloadable. @Charlie, would this ever be possible? Other platforms than PC? Not just Android/3DS, but say, a live/psn/etc release?
Would definitely love an Android version. Because of GDT, I actually purchased Game Dev Story. Nowhere near as addicting, so I would love to have a mobile counterpart that’s actually fun for a long while with the same features as GDT.
Keep an eye on node-webkit development. When/if they support Android then it will be easier for the Klugs to port.
Hey Guys,
At this stage we don’t have any plans to support other platforms yet. It will be awhile before we will be able to consider other platforms for the game.
