[REL] [Tools] UltimateSuite - UltimateModEditor [0.4.5.39]

@blairetian You have discovered a bug .-) The image file in the code has a “whitespace” between the “Tatari” and the “2600”, while the image saved hasn’t. UME seems to do wrong here. It’ll be fixed in the next update. Thanks!

You can fix it up, by manually changing it in the code OR simply remove the current picture from the project, renaming the picture file and re-import it into UME.

@ondrej008 At first, try to close other apps like FireFox, Skype and whatever runs (that shouldn’t be necessary, but could also be a possible cause).

  • Are u using antivirus or security programs?
  • Do you have already the .NET 4 Framework installed on your system?
  • Can you also please provide a screenshot of this message?

###Development News###

The “Build and Deploy” feature of the upcoming UME version will include, as previously announced, possibilities to upload to FTP, MediaFire and GitHub.

This is how the implementation looks atm for the GitHub integration:

The new UME version (0.4.x) will require the .NET Framework 4.5 and hence it will not support Windows XP anymore. This is because UME is using the new async features of the 4.5 version of the framework, especially useful for the deployments and for future features.

The GitHub integration is done using the official Octokit Libraries provided by GitHub.

Do you know if the update will come this weekend or not?

@supersamuel I hope so  Working hard to provide a new update for tomorrow, so chances are high

@alphabit First of all, thanks for your awesome job :D.I have an idea for the mod editor, but i’m not sure if it’s possible. It consists on making custom genres for games. You could also choose the parameters you should focus and to allow you to say what kind of topics and consoles fit your custom genres. It would be nice.

Just wanna know what is GitHub ? :S

@Lordpotato Thanks. Added it to the todo / feature list for future versions (see first post).

@DMX89 GitHub is a web-based hosting service for software development projects that use the Git revision control system. It basically allows you to upload, manage and track your projects. (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GitHub and https://github.com for more information).

Ok thank you

Multi topic  ?

Do you know where I can find the standard non-mod console start amount and units sold to help balance my platforms. Multi topic is a cool idea but some wouldn’t work well.

Yes…so there must be a screen where you can connect good combos and bad combos…like the audience sliders

I Think it is testing out and look how much marketshare it has ingame

For example…in the 80s rhere werent much gamers…so the sell amount wouldn`t be very high…later in 2000/2010 there are millions of sales

I know the PS2 in real life sold 155M units and has sold the most out of any console, but it is very different in-game, I believe they sell in the millions but not 10s of millions. It would be super useful to have it on the wiki or something.

I think you must use cheatmod to skip time…so you can fast look how much marketshare it has

When would you take out the next version?

Market share helps you estimate it but doesn’t give you a straight figure. I do use a cheat mod to test stuff though.
