@alphabit I found a bug, achievements by engine research are not working

And, PLEASE rush with that complex events!

Do you have any plans of when are going to add “consequences” for the R&D Lab and Hardware Researches? I know that’s hard, very hard but I will be so happy if you add that :smile:

Before I start, no I haven’t watched the 50 minute video (I ain’t free)
I saw on the tool that there are “custom console”, is that the hardware lab console?
Can you explain what’s that please?

@supersamuel But if he does rush it it might cause a lot of bugs with complex events. I think everyone would rather let @alphabit take his time and have none/few bugs with complex events then having a lot of bugs with complex events

I know that rushing with things is bad, that as a way to say that I want complex events a lot, I expressed myself bad

Don’t worry :slight_smile: I know how it’s meant…

Don’t forget that the UltimateSuite projects are developed in our free time, so, in order to have all those features implemented, some uninterrupted time is needed to solely focus on the things to do.

Code begins in the head… and thus, I first need a clear vision on how to ideally implement complex events, this isn’t that clear atm, but you can believe me, I’m working on it :wink:

Is it possible to make you require a research of some sort to be able to develop on a platform?

@alphabit if you’re going to fix the “DevelopLargeGames” thing, please fix the bug with the “engine research” criteria for achievements too :wink:

Bug engine research criteria? Mine works fine… Custom item or game item criteria?

If custom use the id of the custom item your require.

Edit: I think it’s because of the v0.1.1 in the tile but why before it was working with and now no ? Weird

What features will come in the update

@alphabit ok let’s say a new platform is released… Well it requires you to have touch screen support to use that platform… possible to make the user have to have an engine with touch screen support to develop for that platform?

If I understand you correctly,it’s basically this one here (example):

  • Create an Engine Research item (let’s call it GraphicsV10)
  • Create a Platform.
  • On criteria selection for Platform “CanResearch”, allow to select the custom created Engine Research (GraphicsV10)
  • Use that as criteria

Is this correct?

I must have GraphicV10 to develop. I don’t understand point 3 all that much… :frowning: Sorry…

Now that I’m not on my kindle.

I want a player to have research GraphicV10 before they can develop for PlatformX, but I want the platform to release when it’s set… (3/4/2)
