What will you do if you got 55K views next week? And 20K downloads

And 107 mods are created?

:stuck_out_tongue:

@alphabit This is kinda a big request and I don’t even know if it’s possible or you would have the time to implement it but here is my idea.
Make it so we can host servers on our computer and other people can join and we can work on a UME mod at the same time.
I only want this as it would make co developing mods (Like the TZP project me and some others are working on) easier to manage

I have a smaller feature idea. An editor for vanilla stuff so we can easily edit vanilla platform release dates for example.

@alphabit Do you like the idea???
Also would that actually be possible

@alphabit I got an error when removing a dependency (That i accidentally added)

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Help with criteria…

No, when you’re going to delete a criteria, you use this check box to select what criteria are you going to delete. (If this is not the main utility is one of them)

Thanks.

@KizzaGaming Thanks for reporting. I will look into it and fix it for the next release.

Concerning collaboration I have already a solution in mind which should aid you to work separately on different tasks. It will not be a real-time collaboration, but it should still work for your needs. I’ll give you more details soon

###Development News ###
To allow collaboration on a project, the next UME release will feature Import and Export functionality to almost every section of a project.

This will allow you to independently work on different items and features and merge them into an existing project. Furthermore this will open the chance for everyone to share and offer single items to be used across different projects.

@alphabit when you gonna relase the next version of ume?

When it’s ready and working. See, there are some harder stuff to do atm, like deployment manager and export/import for all items and still to implement special researches and complex events.

It’s hard for me to name a fixed date as this heavily depends on my time schedule that varies atm.

But I’m willing to re-open Alpha and Beta Versions for you to help me out to get things done quicker and provide feedback (like the non-public versions we had in the past).

So if there’s interest, let me know

I’m interested for beta testing/alpha testing (if you like it)

Ok… so for anyone interested, here’s the deal:

  • There will be a maintenance release for tomorrow or saturday that will fix some known bugs and introduce a Alpha / Beta update option
  • Further versions can be downloaded through the updater if the Alpha / Beta option is selected
  • I’ll provide Alpha / Beta releases whenever a small bunch of features is ready

So it’s up to u to decide whether or not u go with alpha/beta versions.

Please keep in mind that alpha / beta versions should not be used for productive projects, so whenever you use them, make sure to have a backup of your project.
