@Doomman98, itā€™s not the API. The API hasnā€™t been changed for the last 2 months. Do you get the error when you have no mods selected??

Is there a 1.7.0 version that does not contain the consoles yet? Not to sound mean or anything but I just find all the consoles just too overwhelming and I prefer to just have a few added at most from mods. I love all the other things like the Dalek invasion (Lol xD) and all the awesome topics and research items! The current version with no consoles doesnā€™t work. Itā€™s the only mod I have active and it is always a brand new game. There are 2 errors that pop up right as soon as I start the game at the main menu (Mind you these errors donā€™t appear on the version with consoles both 1.7.0 and 1.6.2). Here are the errors it gives me:

The one that comes up right after that is:

I tried what you said to do yesterday (new game and recopy and paste the folder) and neither worked. It shows no sign of the mod being there at all. Is there a possible solution or an updated version in the making?

@Venomous Okay thanks! I was just playing using 1.7.0 (with the bug fix) and I just ran into the same ghg6 bug Doomman keeps running into even though you just patched itā€¦ Weird. It froze my game.

so this confirms, that it wasnā€™t me that didnā€™t install it properly, so and the restarting thing works for a bit and then happens again.

if the restart doesnā€™t work, please recopy and paste the mod folder, venomous-modAPI, into the Game Dev Tycoon Mod Folder

@Doomman98 Yup. Exactly as you said it man. It has happened to me multiple times now. I keep making new saves and what Iā€™ve come down to doing is play for a few minutes and then quit. Rinse and repeat. I have to keep doing that and it is really annoying. This needs to get fixed ASAP!

I am thinking itā€™s a bug with the actual game code, not the mod. Because the error doesnā€™t happen when I am testing every update during the development process on my end.

i stopped trying at this point, cause i know it will happen again and i dunno whatā€™s causing this error, well the cause needs to be isolated.
