Question of combing Genres/Topics

So I tested how the Genre and Topics where in this game.
So I used the following Genre: Simulation and the Topics: Military and City.

I wanted to see if the coding was set, so a specific Genre went with a specific Topic.

Scores:
Military-Sim: 4/5/5/4
City-Sim: 8/8/9/10
Second Scores(tried twice):
Military-Sim: 3/4/4/5
City-Sim: 8/9/9/10

I had the levels at the same area for both games, so now my question is, am I just doing something wrong or is there a Specific Genre for each Topic.

“Bad” Combinations let your score plummet into Abyss. That’s the number 1 reason not to accept such requests from publishers.

Military simulations are bad combos? I remember them doing pretty well.

Then again, idk if you’d consider Age of Empires and Civilization as military simulators.

I think you might be confusing that with STRATEGIES. Simulations would be recreating things as exact as possible, such as a Racing Sim or a City Sim.

Military Strategy -> “World in Conflict”

Military Simulation -> “Infantry 2: Stand & Stare & Sometimes Dig”

Not that “Strategy” in games is generally strategic, but instead tactical.

Military Action: Call of Duty/Halo/Unreal etc.
Military Adventure: Don’t know any real life examples, basically a Sierra Game in WW2 or so…
Military RPG: The closest thing would be Mass Effect, however, that thing is more Sci-Fi
Military Simulation: Vanilla ARMA 2
Military Strategy: World in Conflict/Command and Conquer
Military Casual: lol
