Question For People Who Bought Game On Windows Store

when will the update come out for people who bought the game from Windows Store? and also

‘‘If you are using the Windows Store version then you will need to claim the key from within the game. We will update the game to have a ‘Get Steam key’ button in the menu so you have to make sure that the game is up to date before you try claiming your key. To show the menu in the Windows Store version, you have to either right-click or, if you use touch, then swipe from the bottom of the screen to bring up the menu’’

. does the game auto update because the way i get the game is from the email to the download and later i get it back but does like the game update it self or something? i would really like know or if there is a new download link or something

Judging by your order id you bought from our store, not from the Windows Store. You will therefore get an email where you can claim your steam key :slight_smile:

For those who did buy from the Windows Store and want an answer:

Yes and No. The Store icon on your Windows 8 Start Menu will tell you if there are updates available for any of your apps, and you can choose to update GDT then.

so ive got the windows store version, however after updating a few minutes ago (aug 29, 2013) the game only updates to version 1.3.14.0 not the version the FAQ says it should be so that I can get the steam version. has it not been released yet to windows store?

lol you removed his game ID but not his email?

The edit history still shows his game ID… might be something you want to address, being able to exclude admin/mod edits from the history.
