[QUES] Question about Modding!

I’m working on a new Expansion pack but am having a few troubles! I’m not anything near a pro when it comes to coding, so I have a few questions:

  1. How do you make “Events” have an effect? For example: Lets say an event comes up and says "Your upcoming release has been leaked! and lets say I want to make this give the player hype. How would I give this event the ability to do that?
  2. How do I make/Cerate custom console pictures?
    If anyone who could help me on this that’d be awesome!

I’m currently using that, and I’ve watched the whole tutorial but I’m having trouble doing those few things as in I don’t exactly know how too. How would code/ Make those specific things?

You can’t do that at the moment

Use software such as photoshop, paint.net etc

In alphabits tutorial he says images are supposed to be 200 by 200, Can these images be off of google, or is there a specific way to get these images?

You can get images off Google, although if the work is copyrighted it might cause problems

You can’t create pictures, all you can do is import them

Because you are a new user, you can’t make private messages yet. When you can, all you do is click on a persons username and click Private Message :smiley:

I don’t recommend using paint, it’s very default and almost no options; also you can’t make the background transparent, so your image will be in a white box when imported. I also don’t think you can choose the dimensions in Paint. So I recommend using an advanced image editor such as paint.net(not MS Paint) or Gimp 2. However if you have extra money to burn, buy Photoshop.
