[QUES] How do I get ID's for consoles?

I’m going to be creating my own mod, as AnthonyVGNerd has been gone a lot lately. I was wondering how you generate ID’s for custom platforms.

For the ids, you just make up a id that is globally unique.

so, 1234-345346-57-56-75- (I know that isn’t valid, just making a point)

would (probably) work if that was the format for ID’s?
