How does one upload .zip files of their mods? Thank you.
You make a .zip file with WinRAR and you upload it on GitHub… make a reporesitey (or something like that) and sync your files into it with the GitHub program you have to have installed on your computer. Put the files in the folder for it in the GitHub folder in your documents and sync… sync… best word ever!

I just told you how. Use the GitHub.exe that you downloaden, drag your respository in it and go in the the folder from your respository which you can find in Documents/GitHub/…, place the files there and sync it in the program.

GITHUB SYNC / INSTALL
1: download github (here)
2: Install Github.
3: Open Github, and login.
4: follow all the steps
5: click on the repository you want to edit,
6: press on sync ( http://qs.lc/lcdhh ), and wait until the loading is done.
7: goto: C:\Users\ your name here! \Documents\GitHub
8: open your repository-folder,
9: Drag and drop the files you want in github to the folder,
10: click on "publish"
11: done!
ZIP FILES
1: right-click on your folder,
2: select: “add to archive…”
3: select “ZIP” ( http://qs.lc/m5bqp ), click on OK
