I was thinking around on how to produce a mod, and what I was going to do until I stumbled across;
startAmount: 0.15
unitsSold: 0.358
Those numbers. What math is being done to put those into larger or shorter numbers in-game.

Those numbers are for the Game Platforms in the game. You need them to code up custom platforms for your mod.
I’ve seen those numbers used in custom mods, but I think only @PatrickKlug or @Charlie could more or less help me in this matter.
Hey Marcus, those numbers represent the amount of consoles have been sold, the startAmount means: how many consoles are sold at the beginning, the unitsSold means: how many consoles are being sold in the lifetime of the platform. Both numbers are in millions and they are needed to calculate the market share. Hope this helped!!
@DzjengisKhan, I knew that much I’m just wondering how, Let’s say; 0.741 turns into 5,672,123 in game.
@Marcus_Green I don’t quiet follow you right now haha what do you mean by [quote]

@DzjengisKhan I think I confused myself o: I might’ve been looking at something else and got the numbers mixed up.
Haha alright, good luch with your mod!!
Only problem I’ll have is thinking of parodied names D:
lol
In the Expansion Pack Mod there’s Itara (Atari).
Another question. Has GDT ever given you the option too release a game on more than one console during the end stage?
//Haven’t played it in a while >w<
Yup! In 1.4 they added Multi-Platform and you can release the game on a maximum of three consoles after you researched it!
