[QUE] Is it possible to add more than topics, events, and platforms?

Just a question: Is it possible to add more than just topics, events, and platforms whilst modding? What I’m wondering is, well, is it possible to add things in the menu when you click the screen?

I’m thinking of adding an option for ways to get funds without paying, but it can only be used whilst bankrupt or in the garage. It’ll be indie funding and you pick a size and a goal you need to get and like sales, you get the money over time except you get it all at once

but anyways is it possible to add the stuff on menu when you click the screen?

I heard that DzjengisKhan found a way to add custom researches to the game with his mod. I got this info from a little bird called GitHub.

Yeah, but what I’m wondering:

When you click the screen, a menu appears.
The menu has options, such as Develop Game, Contracts, etc

I’m wondering if there’s a way to add more options onto the little menu.

well it’s probably possible, but it would be really complex. You have to dig deep into the original code to find out how everything is programmed and then make an add-on for it. It would be awesome if it was possible, but almost impossible for now. (For me atleast)

MOJANG isn’t the worlds best game development crew, just because they made a voxel sandbox game.

If you’re looking for something high-level and high-quality, I’d say Activision but they can do it.

It’s not that hard :slight_smile: You just have to dig a little in the orginal code like DzjengisKhan said.
And then hook the right function and add your own buttons.

I’ve been playing around with it for a few hours, and got it working.
All I need now is a idea :slight_smile: haha I don’t have much inspiration :slight_smile:
