I was thinking. and I thought multiplayer would be really good for Game Dev Tycoon. There could be up to 4 players and the companies save as you level up. so every few levels you get to choose a new staff member or move if you are just starting. Level 1-10 you are in the garage, 11-20 you are in the second sort-of area and get to choose one staff member. Your money, games and research resets per game but you keep half your research points. The player with the most money , hits or best reviews all together wins (if you have 6-10 reviews the entire game and have £1million where your opponent. has £3million you would win for better reviews. at the end you get XP to level up and you get 50% the money you earned to buy new character items, and decor for your business, even permanent researched items! What do you think Game Devs?

Great idea! There was been some speculation about multiplayer. I don’t think that Charlie will confirm anything about multi-player - BUT! It is a great idea and they may take multiple people playing online together and everyone could do a Development Stage. I really hope something great comes out when they expand the game.
could be made to work with a MAJOR rewrite…add some server stuff for persistent storage/user registration/authentication/etc/blabla,
but like the devs said, GDT was supposed to be less *ville…just a fun-to-play single player game.
(consider the following: could a brick be made to fly? - sure, if you add enough thrust)
