I realise that this is probably a long shot, and understand that you will, no doubt, be busy but…are there any plans for a port of Game Dev Tycoon to Android?
I played the lite version, got hooked and bought the full version for windows 8, but would love to see it on android.

We have investigated the possibility but first tests were not very promising. There are so many low-power Android devices out there that it would be very difficult to create a version of the game that would run on all of them. For now we focus on other things.
Thank you for the quick reply, just one more thing I forgot to ask…within the game is it possible to re-re-release the games you create but on alternate systems?
no, a game can only be released on one platform (this was a design decision). you can however make a sequel for a different platform.

You could always buy Game Dev Story for $2.50 which many people say is exactly like Game Dev Tycoon.

Damn I’m sad this won’t be ported to Android…I wouldn’t mind if it was only available for the newest ones, but alas I shall remain sad

Could you not then make it possible for high end devices. Or make 2 render options, one for low end devices and one for high?
There comes new devices out every day, I can’t see why your argument should be a problem. its like with pc games. Not everyone could play Crysis when it got released
