PC is the only platform that changes its sprite as time passes. Why not other platforms do that?

I love the fact that PC changes its sprite to more modern look while time passes. But let’s take a look at gameboy/ling that stays like that ALL THE TIME*.

This is the list of all important versions of the gameboy:
Gameboy
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advance/SP

They should all have their unique sprite and at least a notification that the company made a modified version.
BTW, the gameling (just gameling) shouldn’t accept 2D graphics above V3 and none of the entire series of gameling shouldn’t accept 3D graphics at all. Also this should apply to all platforms that were changed over time like Ninvento DS.

*Until it’s taken out of the market.
