So i ran into a little problem a little while ago and sent an email to you guys on the official website, i still got no reply after a few days so i figured i posted it on here

I really like your lite version of the game and want to purchase the game to play further.
But i stumbled on problem that makes me unable to buy your game.
I don’t have a credit card which you need to buy the game, i only have ideal or are able to put money on my Paypal account.
I thought that if i had a sufficient amount on my Paypal account that i would be able to finish the transaction in the play story, this is not possible, it still needs a credit card.
Now i want to ask you if i am able to pay in some way without a credit card (with ideal or the money on my Paypal account).

maybe someone else can help me with this? would LOVE to have the game on my PC and i dont want to wait for steam
I dont think there is an alternative. Okay you could always take the German citizenship and pay via Direct Debit :DD but i doubt that’s an Option. you should just transfer money to your Paypal acc or wait for the win7 release and have a look what payment options Greenheart Games Offers/uses. When and if Gamedev Tycoon will come to steam is not clear.

I just checked and it seems that the email was in our SPAM folder, so sorry for not replying. I might as well reply here now, maybe someone else will find this useful.
Unfortunately we don’t have any control over the purchase process in the Windows Store. I believe that payment methods vary from country to country and I’m fairly sure that PayPal is accepted in some countries. To get a definitive answer you might want to contact Microsoft directly. They are usually pretty good in replying:
We do plan to start selling the game on our website directly and you should be able to buy it from there via paypal. I don’t have an exact date for you but this should be available in the next few weeks.
I bought the game through Paypal on the Windows Live store (I live in Belgium but the windows 8 version I used to emulate on VMWare showed me in the US I think)
What you can try is download Tunnelbear, which will show you are in the US or UK if you choose so, create a new Windows Live account and you should be able to use Paypal It’s a bit of a harder way but if you really want to buy it, it’s worth it

here are a few more details of my problem:
i live in the netherlands.
i have tried the paypal function in windows store and it redirects me to a paypal transaction page, i log in and it says i need a credit card, which i dont have, i also have enough balance on my paypal account
Do you have a Debit card (ie a standard bank-card)? PayPal doesn’t differentiate, so if a transaction is card-only, then you can still use a Debit card to charge from your bank account.
It’s a bit of a harder way but if you really want to buy it, it’s worth it
