They’re kind of like Popes, but then, we’re already all popes. (Sire liah!)
Speaking from experience, I’m a terrible arch-mage. Once I get my arch-mage quarters I raid it for alchemy ingredients, then get bored of my profession and go back focusing on my thieves guild duties

It’s gotta be said, when I join the college I pretty much steal everything useful and then just abandon the quests…
