Really want to get into modding but i only know little of java and i wanted to see if someone could teach me and help me even make a mod together.
Game Dev Tycoon is modded with JavaScript, not Java. I think you should look into the Ultimate Mod Editor (UME)

Unless, of course, you are not on windows, than you are SOL, my friend.
There’s 2 mod makers. One for Mac and one for Windows. (Ultimate Mod Maker, Ultimate Mod Editor)
If only UMM worked as it is supposed to… (I have tried using it multiple times. Only does topics, so no engine parts, researches, or consoles for you.) Also has a REALLY clunky GUI, and treats each topic as a separate mod.
