I assume he means beat the game with one person in total. THERE’S NO NEED TO TAKE EVERYTHING LITERALLY WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT THEY MEANT!

Also, in my Sorrows’ Society Challenge, it seems the state of the art means to scoremax on the text-only challenge is to stay in the garage.
