Odd "linked posts" in notifications box?

Hey,
I have been receiving strange notifications that don’t seem to have any purpose.

I assume these are to tell you when somebody links to your topic, but out of the perhaps 5 times such notifications have appeared for me, the topic they were attached to never actually linked to any of my own topics.

Am I missing something or is this a bug? I’m using Firefox.

@sam this has been reported a handful of times elsewhere. We should keep an eye out if it recurs.

I noticed this happens for me when someone edits a post;

This is from 14.34 28/05/14

There were some bugs related to spurious linked post notifications that should now be fixed.
