Hi. Mi name is Manuel and actually I’m studding illustration and concept art.
Normally i work for fun and for professional experience in indie game dev. I saw this game like 30 times or more on steam but I never though about buy the game. Why? Dont know, i prefer to waste my money in art books or other games.
I like to play videogames. Normally i buy game bundles, some AAA games and nothing more. To be honest I hate bundles because you pay a low price for a lot of games who mostly of them deserves more than this but well, i dont have much money to waste. Sometimes i download some games because I know I will not play more than 1 or 2 hours and I think is a waste of money buy a game for 40$ when I will only play 2 hours.
The other day i was talking with a friend of mine about this game and i told him about download it. He told me about Green Heart games put an advertisement in the pirated game about the problems of piracy and when you unlock some part of the game your company goes bankrupt because of piracy. I read about that and, honestly i didn’t care about it. I just download the game about 40 mins ago. BUT i take and achievement who say: “Supporter” and then and advertisement giving me thanks because i bought the game. Obviously i didn’t buy it, just I tried the game for fun and I didn’t have the intention to pay for it. But when I saw the advertisement and the achievement I thought about the company and all the money, time, and resources they waste to make this game. And then i thought about me and my future and, honestly, I dont want to design games just to waste my time. I like to design and create games. I like to share and learn about it. And one day I want to win money to live doing what i like and what i want. And I think this company is trying to do the same. So, if I crack the game and I dont pay for it… I’m lying to myself. I’m not cooperating with people with my same dreams and goals.
So that is why I decide to buy the game. Even if I dont have a lot of money at the moment.
I hope Green Heart games will read this, someday.
PD: Sorry about my english.
