I really love this game, it’s really easy to get lost in and let your imagination run wild. What I would love to see is a game based in the world of music using the same engine and gameplay. Think this’d be possible?

There is also an old PC game called Band Manager, kinda fun, but very restrictive, you have to make songs that they want you to make (you get a choice of like 3 every time). But the game makes references to brothers falling out (Oasis) and other real life band references

I too fondly remember Rock Star Ate My Hamster, but I think Green Heart Games should look to do something a little more different, rather than become a one-trick pony.
There was an obscure little game called Superstar, circa 2003, that I remember fondly. It was an RPG-style simulation of a rock-music career; apparently the gameplay resembled the 1989 title Rockstar (I never got round to trying that one myself, though I see that a writer over at PC Gamer recently did). The game was produced by a two-person outfit–in Poland, I believe–who called themselves Daisy-Chain.
The old Home of the Underdogs site was experimenting with allowing indie developers to offer their work in a HOTU Store, and Superstar was sold there. The game was slightly unfinished, and Daisy-Chain seemed to fall off the face of the earth before all the kinks were worked out…but even without the last bit of polish ever being applied, I found the game compelling and intriguing. It was even worth enduring the occasional hard reset of my computer when a particularly nasty bug struck (it’s probably a good idea, if you’re able to track down a copy of Superstar, to run the DOS version in DOSBox).
I would like to see a game that looks exactly like this but with a movie studio!
oh also there is a band game exactly like this. get google+ and search for google+ game called band stars. its sorta like this it uses bubbles like this while you’re making songs. and its made by the people who made jetpack joyride. @Beffy
