I think it would be a great thing if you could make a game for the g64 and pc and it would be cool to make a horror aliens game or something anyone agree
Multi topic is already available, you get the ability to research it later into the game at the second office.
I think he means the ability to make a Space-Military Action-Simulation kinda game where you can choose two or more different topics to make a better game with. So like what I said about a Space-Military game could represent a Halo type game or Sports-Racing game could be for a Olympic type game.
Multi-genre exists in the game, but multi topic does not…but would be an interesting idea.
The problem is that it could be potentially unbalancing…and/or headache inducing when figuring out bonuses or penalties.
The real question is, how would topics interact with each other?
Say I do a Racing + Sci Fi multi topic game.
How would the game treat a Racing + Sci fi Casual game? Sci-fi is bad for casual games, but racing is good for them.
What if I make a simulation game (a genre both topics are good with) does it get an extra bonus? Or does everything BUT simulation suffer a minor penalty because one of the two topics isn’t good for it?
What if I mixed Sci Fi and horror and made a young-focused game? Sci fi is good for young players, but horror is not. Which takes priority?
How would mutli topic + multi genre games be calculated?
Would reversing the order of the two topics have an impact on the calculations and/or be seen as a new unique combo.
(As a point of reference, a Simulation/Adventure game and an adventure/Simulation game are seen as two unique combos…but the order in multi-genre DOES matter, with the first genre having double the effect of the 2nd)
Oops, I thought you mean’t genre, Sorry
