More tycoon games?

Hey fellow Game Dev Tycoon fans!

I really loved Game Dev Tycoon, and I can’t be the only one to want another game.
I’m not talking about Game Dev Tycoon 2, I’m talking about a new tycoon.

Making products such as TV’s, Computers, and other technology.
This is just a rough idea, and there is no need to rush to the next game and everything, but I love everything that GreenHeart has put into this!

I think they should work on a new game later. Right now I would prefer to see them add more stuff to the game and online features and then they should make a new game.
Although I would like to see them make a TV show tycoon type of thing

Anything they add to this game will be a great improvement and I can’t wait to see future games. I had so much fun with this one and still do

This format can be used for all sorts of different industries. it’s making each game look unique that would be a challenge for the team.

For instance (a quick just for giggles list):
Newspaper Tycoon - The first printed newspaper, according to wiki, is generally recognized as being “the Relation aller Fürnemmen und gedenckwürdigen Historien, printed from 1605 onwards by Johann Carolus in Strasbourg”, and prior to that there was handwritten versions going back (at least) to the Romans. Of course, online publishing is now the fashion. That means there’s great scope for a story and a tech tree, and everything else would be artistic license.

Studio Tycoon - This name works in the music sense and in the film sense. Both rely on advances in technology and getting the best performers, technicians, and specialists.

Big Top Tycoon - with circuses and other side show attractions rapidly fading into nostalgia, this could draw a huge crowd. Knowing the towns you’re going to means you can adapt the performances you put in your show, and how long you stay in town, If your monkeys escape and pull all the aerials and wing mirrors off the townsfolk’s cars, you might want to cut short your stay,

Hope you enjoyed those ideas!

Also found myself addicted to Game Dev Tycoon and would definitely pay for an Anime or Manga-type game. I look forward to the future development of Game Dev Tycoon and think it would make a wonderful addition to Steam. Voted for it on Greenlight ^^

If you want to play an Studio Tycoon-ish game, I recommend playing ‘The Movies’. It’s a fantastic game, with not too bad graphics (The Movies is from 2005). You can see the movies by yourself, buy and choose the sets, create your own scripts or let them make my people. You can hire all different sorts of actors, from ugly to beautiful. You have to build your studio from the ground up!

I really recommend playing this game once, it’s so addicting and very fun. It’s like Game Dev Tycoon, but then with movies.

Yeah! They could make a “TV Show Tycoon!” You make TV shows and choose how they play out. Will you have a leaving character on Season 3? Will you have them return on Season 5’s premier? It will start when TV Show’s were new, and come up to present times.

I would love such a game!

How about a MMA Tycoon! I’d like an alternative to WMMMA 3 (which is fun as hell), but there vibrant approach would be awesome.

I personally would not really like another World of Mixed Martial Arts 3. But I did not enjoy WMMA 3 at all. It’s just my opinion.

It’s not for everyone. I am actually playing it right now. It’s just the only one we have out for for us MMA fans. Maybe Greenheart will do one.

If the TV show tycoon were to be made a game, then it should start from making books, to making TV shows and movies, with publishing deals, and your own production compartment, as prior/ in place of the development lab.

A Japanese spin-off/version would be manga creation, getting deals from publishers, then eventually making your own anime and movies.

A music one would be good too, but really discussing these ideas should be reserved for future affairs.

Although with that in mind, more tycoon games from Greenheart Games is a must, considering how well it is doing now.
