More of a threat?

Hello!

I think that Hackers and Scammers should be more of a threat in this game. I think that randomly your systems get hacked and you lose money. It wouldn’t be often though. When one of your employees ask you about the security threat and you pay 50k, I don’t think that it does anything.

Both are already put in the game, something I’ve noticed is a bit ago is a oil company trying to give you 2.5m but you need 125,000 to get it, The other part is your credit card stolen

You can pay to hack other companies and steal research (or sabotage equipment, but that doesn’t seem to accomplish anything). If you’re topping the charts on every release, they might just be tempted to do it back.

Great Suggestions :green_heart:

Sabotaging other companes is kinda in the game, You get contacted asking to do “War games” if you decrypt the message, accepting will sabotage a game company, You are also contacted for research and when you accept you get a new topic.

Note, there is a link between stealing research/sabotoging rivals. The more you accept those proposals…the more vulnerable you become to the ‘someone has stolen out credit card’ event.

If you keep your nose clean and decline any shady offers, your credit card should stay safe.

That said, I’ll admit to taking the stolen research deal more often than not, especially if my next 4 researchable topics are not useful for the kinds of games my team is good with.
I don’t see any benefit to the ‘wargames’ event, and always decline it.

Maybe the ‘wargames’ event lowers the target rating you’ve set for your games? It would interfere with your competitors, conceivably causing a drop in industry standards, and thus making your next game more likely to succeed.

I’ve never lost an amount of money that mattered on the credit card. Usually, the loss is less than 20k. Once, it was much larger than that, but still a similarly small amount.

It doesn’t (to my knowledge), though I did post an idea about an ‘industry standard’ target score being harmed by sabotage.

The amount of money you lose to credit card theft is always a % of your current wealth, so it’ll never bankrupt you. It is more annoying than harmful…
