Probably a stupid question, but do I need to select ‘online play’ for the MMO in order to make it ‘online’?
I’d assume yes. It’s an MMO. Could you backup the save now and see? I haven’t gotten far in the game to that point, so perhaps someone else may know.
Doing so now, let’s see what happens.
Curious. What part is this taken place in the ‘gaming era’? Is this like during our gaming era now…?
I don’t know if there’s a proper term, but I refer to the gaming periods as eras.
Current gaming era, I believe. You research the MMO option from the R&D lab you can get later on in the game.
You do not need to select “online play” to make the MMO. I have no idea what not having the option will do to sales though. The only requirement is that you do the separate MMO R&D, then research, then make a game.
Thanks mate, figured it out now. Sadly, it’s selling poorly but oh well!
Don’t sweat it, you can always make up for it with the expansion pack!
